Here are some frequently asked questions I often encounter from people interested in finding out more about my business and the products I sell.

If you want to find out more, you can book a free discovery call with me, and I can help you start your journey to becoming more eco-friendly and having an impact on the world around us.

Where did your passion for sustainability come from?

My granddaughter! As soon as I became a grandma, I knew that  I wanted to be able to give her a healthier, safer, cleaner environment to grow up in.

When your lifestyle incorporates environmentally friendly living and the use of environmentally friendly products.

Definitely not. In fact, you are more likely to fail if you do. Just pick one thing, one area at a time, and start with that. This would cost you a lot of money and waste the products that you have already bought to use.

I don’t personally make any of the products but I am helping to support others who do. Some of the products are Fair Trade and are made by families for whom this is their livelihood. Other products are made by small independent businesses.

I didn’t start out for it to be this way but as my products are vegan I am not excluding anybody from using them.

I provide advice through my consultancy, The Eco Edit. The Eco Edit is the simplest way I can think of to help you switch from current products that you are using around your home to more environmentally friendly ones. All you need to do is provide me with photographs of any cleaning product you use for you or your home, it’s as easy as that. It is designed to help anyone who is feeling confused with what they are using or feel they should be using within their homes.

No I am an independent business trying to make it easier for you to be a little bit more eco-friendly.

No I want to be neutral with all the information I provide. I do not want anybody to think I am swayed by being affiliated with the product.

Yes I do. This is through my Eco Edit consultancy.

My weekly newsletter is packed with interesting news, any discounts I have available, upcoming products, and what’s going on in my world.

I’m based in Southampton. I travel locally for events and hold meetings online, meaning I can connect with anyone in the world for a conversation. My website is available to anyone, so you do not have to be local to receive any of my products or gain support through my consultancy packages.

I offer a range of both. My website is packed with wonderful Eco gifts to purchase for yourself or others. I also offer the Eco Edit, where I take a deep dive into products you use around your home and offer you Eco-alternatives.

About the Products

How long do the hydroponic herb kits last for?

You have enough in the kit to last for at least 2 years, but you can buy replenishments after that time.

They are naturally antibacterial, so they help regulate your foot temperature so you do not get hot, sweaty, smelly feet! The bamboo socks I sell are 80% bamboo, so they are among the highest-content bamboo socks on the market. This makes them incredibly soft even after washing.

They are made from 100% post-consumer plastic.

They weigh in at less than 100grams so they are perfect if you are travelling or going on holiday.

They are made from soy wax and not beeswax. They also do not contain any nasty chemicals.

They are made by a group of Fair Trade ladies in India. What also makes these journals extra special is that they do not have paper pages; they have cotton pages.

Wenge. Don’t panic. Wenge is an endangered tree species. These originate in Vietnam, where the government closely monitors the use of the remaining wenge trees. Trees are used by traditional furniture makers to keep their tradition alive. They were burning the offcuts. They now use these offcuts to make the cutlery sets.

A lot of people don’t like bamboo in their mouths. It can feel very tacky. Wenge is a hardwood so you do not get the same sensation when using this cutlery.
